9 months!

As of yesterday, my baby is 9 months old! These past 9 months have gone by way too fast. Savannah continues to do something new and funny every day. She has quite the personality and we love it! Here are some things she is doing at 9 months...
*She is sleeping through the night, at least 10 hours every night!
*She has 3 teeth...2 on the bottom, and one on top...not a front tooth though, a fang, our little snaggle tooth.
*She loves kids/babies and dogs. She squeals with excitement when she sees another kid or dog.
*I don't think she has control of her arms yet. They are all over the place, especially when she wants something or is excited. It's one of her funniest traits.
*She is not crawling yet, but bends, scoots and rolls like no other. She can get her hands on anything if she puts her mind to it.
*She will eat anything and everything. She loves food! We have to share everything with her or we get in trouble.
*She has 4 feedings a day, 2 formula, 2 from mom.
*She's our little screamer and loves being loud and getting attention from anyone who will give it to her.
*She takes one really good nap every day and one not so good nap in the afternoon.
*She goes to bed late with mom, but that's because her mom is not a morning person.

Savannah is so fun to be around. She is so happy and fun loving. I get comments daily about how smiley of a baby she is. We love her and all of her sassiness.

Weight: 17 pounds 2 ounces (25%)
Height: 27 3/4 in. (75%)

Silly Savannah!

On the way to the cabin we stopped in Park City to shop and eat! The outlets had the best deals! Anyway, I gave Savannah my apple core to keep her busy. It entertained her for hours! She just sat, relaxed in her stroller, sucking on the core. It made my shopping trip very enjoyable. She was so relaxed that she kept sliding down and I would have to prop her back up. Well, we got to Carters and it wasn't a very stroller friendly store. They had the best deals of all so I would temporarily leave the stroller as I browsed the racks. I came back to Savannah to find this...

She had wiggled her way out of her stroller, through the snack rack and all, and somehow landed perfectly sitting up...still munching on her apple core! I thought it was so funny, especially because she wasn't hurt and she doesn't know how to get into the sitting position on her own. She must have gracefully fallen that way! Let's just say she now has to be strapped in her stroller...We love our crazy girl!

Happy Easter!

We had a really fun Easter weekend! We were able to spend some time at my parents cabin with Josh's family. Savannah had an awful night there, so as fun as it was, it was also good to come home and take a good long nap! This morning we went to church and then headed to Josh's Grandparents for a yummy dinner. The weather made the day awesome!

Here she is in her Easter attire(thanks to Aunt Sarah and Great Aunt Janet!)Seriously, could she get any cuter?!?

"Look at all this cool stuff!" Savannah and Caden loved their Easter baskets!

Grandma and Grandpa Chase hid a basket for Savannah for her 1st Easter. Pj's, crackers, and a cute outfit...what more could a girl want?!

PASTY WHITE!

It's that time of year where I want to bring out the skirts, shorts, flip flops, etc. All this leads me to feel white and not my best self...until I started using this...

Now don't get me wrong...next time you see me I won't look like a Brazilian beauty that just walked off a cruise ship...but I won't be whiter than the snowman I built last weekend! If anything you won't even notice, but I do and that is all that matters! I love this new face lotion...even has SPF...the regular natural glow body lotion isn't my favorite. It still smells like tanning cream. Hopefully in a couple of months I won't be using any of this and be all natural! HURRY UP SUMMER!

It's been a while...

For about a month, I thought I had lost my camera. Therefore, I have no pictures of Savannah at 7 months! It's time to make up for it! Here she is in all her glory...can't get enough of her...even if she does have chicken rice dinner all over her face!

My picture wall is finally done! Does it look like a hard project?! Nope! But for some reason it has taken me 2 years to do it. I really bought most of those frames 2 years ago and finally did it, well Josh and his dad did it, and Nichols Photo Lab (aka Erin and Paul Bitner) did it too! (run on sentence!) It first started out as a "family history" wall with a bunch of wedding pictures from us, our parents and grandparents. Yep, having a kid changes all that. Sorry parents and grandparents but soon you will be replaced by my sweet girl!

Last but not least, a classic family picture at Leatherby's! We have been going there monthly and love it. We got a brownie sundae this time and did not like it...hmmm...why is it gone...we'll eat anything!
