Advice please!

So my baby girl is going to be one before I know it. This means a new car seat! Wasn't I just researching the one she's in now? Anyway, I am starting my search now because I want to find the best deal on a good car seat...Tell me what you think...do you like yours? Wish you got something else? Let me know fellow mommies!
Of course I would love this...
The Britax...I know it's the best but I don't want to/have the money to spend on it!

Then I saw this...
Safety 1st...Half the price...all the same hookups, up to 80 pounds, yada yada yada...

What do you think? Leave a comment and let me know what brand you like!
Thanks!

Where we've been...

I haven't blogged in so long! I always say I am never busy, but this past week has been crazy! For about 2 months me and my sister in law Racquel have been planning a surprise get away to St. George for our husbands. It was a good plan to get us to leave our babies over night for the 1st time and to set a deadline for me to stop nursing Savannah! Way easier said than done! Anyway, the surprise was a success and we had a good time! The boys golfed while we shopped with no deadline and no carting little ones around. We missed them like crazy but finally stopped worrying after a bit!

We went bowling...where I won the 2nd game...

We spent some time at the pool...with this girl...she was too funny! This is her and Mark doing "the old lady going to the bread store" move.

What a good way to spend memorial day weekend!

For a couple days before we spent some time watching our friend Brian in his beautiful home in Park City. This pic. does not give it justice. We love getting away to "Clouds Rest!"

Savannah is now 10 months. She is crawling all over the place and is as funny as ever. No more sitting around playing with toys for this girl and no more sitting around for mom either! This picture was taken by Michelle at my brother's wedding! I love it!

Last but not least...Welcome Danilynn! My sister surprisingly had her fourth baby last week. She has Ashlynn, Brayden, Cody and now Danilynn. A, B, C, D...get it? And they all have a "Y." Anyway, my sister is "super mom" and has no problem with C-sections, nursing and less sleep. I can't wait to meet this little girl!

My Brother's Wedding

This past weekend we went to California for my brothers wedding. We flew into LA, rented a car and drove 3 hours north to San Luis Obisbo for the celebration! Sounds fun right? Well, thank goodness Savannah is a good traveler(for the most part)because we got off to a rocky start! The flight there went good. Savannah even got her own seat. Then we had to take a shuttle to the rental car place. 1 long hour later we get our rental car...only costing $75 more than originally planned. I was mad, so I go fight it back down to $94. Finally we are on our way...oh wait, we are in CA, there is traffic! We get cruising along, stop for some lunch and then realize we are not going the right way! After a 5 hour drive we get to the hotel! We visit with my family for a little bit and then check in. Luckily Savannah slept like a champ in the hotel room! It makes things a lot easier! Saturday was crazy, but so fun. The wedding was perfect. A magician married Ryan and Carole, which was too funny. The reception was fun as well. Everything was planned perfectly around Ryan and Carole's funky style. I am so happy for them and so jealous that they are now in Maui! We left the party a little early because of a tired baby. Sunday, we woke up, met all the family for breakfast and then were on our way back. This time going the right way! We stopped in Santa Barbara for a bit and then finished the rest of the drive. Savannah slept the whole way! What an exhausting weekend!

Picture overload! I know they are small so click on them if you want to see them bigger.

Our Mothers!

Josh and I have the best moms. We LOVE you both and hope you had a fabulous mother's day!

It's weird to think I joined the "Mom's Club" this year. I love being a mom and am so lucky to have Savannah. I love being with her every day. I love that my husband works hard so that I can be with her every day. I love that she is a mama's girl and needs me. It doesn't get much better. I am in awe of all the mothers out there that work so hard to create beautiful families. Being a mom is hard but I am lucky enough to have women in my life who are going through(or went through)exactly what I am to help make it easier. Thank you for your examples! Hope you felt appreciated this weekend!

Silly Savannah #2

The other day I was up on our desk writing out a card to a friend. Savannah was down below playing with her toys...or so I thought! Most of you have been to my house and know that the computer looks down onto the living room, so it's not uncommon for me to be up on the computer with her playing in full view down below. I guess she figured out how to pull the wipes out and boy was it fun for her! She'd pull one out, and drop it in the pile and repeated this process about 100 times! I don't know what I am going to do when the real mischief begins!
